"Soma" means the body experienced from within.
In this workshop we will explore movement. with the intention on focusing on the internal experience of movement rather than the external appearance or result, creating new pathways between our muscles and brain. The magic is the slowness and gentleness of the practice, because sometimes slow and easy is just what we need!
What to expect:
Sue will guide you through gentle but powerful floor-based sequences to release deep held patterns, relieve tension, increase range of motion and improve posture.
Self-massage techniques using props, tennis balls and your own body will be incorporated.
Attending this workshop, you will:
- Release the subtle layers of your body
- Feel lighter, freer in your body
Registration limited to 10 @ Beyond2Yoga.com

During this 4-week session, we will explore our anatomy as it relates to the sciatic nerve and look at patterns related to sciatic nerve pain.
Melanie will guide you through simple, but effective poses that can provide sciatic pain relief. *Prior yoga experience is not required.*
FACT Sciatic pain typically radiates along the path of the sciatic nerve, a long nerve that runs from your lower back, across your hips and backside, down the back of each leg.
FACT Sciatica is a very common and painful problem that can range from tingling and numbness to shooting pain down the hip, entire leg and foot.
FACT Left untreated sciatica can significantly restrict our movement and prevent us from living our lives to the fullest.
Attending this series, you will:
- Establish a healthy yoga practice to alleviate discomfort
- Gain the knowledge to continue your practice at home.
