Getting good sleep is essential for clarity, concentration, preventing depression, lowering inflammation, and a strong immune system. Join Lynn for an afternoon dedicated to sleep!
During this workshop, you will learn about our natural sleep cycles and discuss strategies to rein in the spinning thoughts that keep you tossing and turning.
Lynn will guide you through postures and breathing practices to help loosen the body, calm the nervous system, and focus the mind, as well as systematic relaxation practices. All of these techniques will be especially helpful when done before bed.
After this workshop, you will:

- Feel rested, clear, and ready to make a change

Spend countless hours sitting? Not able to get on the floor? Working with limited mobility? Gain confidence and strength in our Chair class!
Chair yoga like other forms of yoga helps to improve flexibility, strength and circulation, and helps alleviate stiffness from sitting for long periods at a time.
In this class you will not only learn the different asana (poses) adapted for chair practice, but we will also practice pranayama (breathing techniques), which can assist in reducing anxiety and creating a sense of calm.
Attending this class, you will:
- Learn stretches and strengthening poses
- Have more energy
- Feel confident and comfortable in your body
- Experience a variety of practices
- Feel stable and safe
This workshop is open to new and
seasoned yogis and anyone interested
in a passive yoga practice.
