What I love most about yoga is...that it embraces a holistic view of well-being, encompassing conscious awareness of our inward and outward actions and thoughts.
My favorite pose is...I do not have a favorite pose yet. I find that I experience different energies within each pose and the more I tune-in to these experiences, the more I begin to understand which pose is needed for my body and mind in that moment.
On a Friday night you'll find me...hanging with my family -- which includes my two dogs.
My personal mantra is...'OM' to harness my inner peace, but when I need to make sense of the nonsensical, I often repeat "expect nothing & appreciate everything."
Best guilty pleasure – any peanut butter and chocolate mixture.

Kristin decided to pursue yoga because she already enjoyed mindfulness practice and breath work. Following yogic philosophy has helped her better understand her place in the universe and that happiness comes from within.
She was not sure she realized that when she decided to study for her yoga teacher training, just how much she would enjoy yogic philosophy, but it has changed her world view. “I feel much calmer and more tuned into my mind/body connection in my day-to-day living.”
